What Kind of Help Really Helps?

There have been many persons who helped and supported me through the many years I spend struggling with cancer (see Cancer / life crisis) whether present physically or inspiring me through lectures. Some of them I mention in The Cancer Monologue of Péter Szil. Here I would like to share a text of Treya Killiam Wilber, published in 1988, shortly before her passing away because of cancer. Her view on What Kind of Help Really Helps had for me the great value of confirming the answers myself came up with while confronted for many years with that very question – or at least convey that I'm not alone.
